Returning from his first trip to India in 2005, Pachter was inspired to create a new series based on his first impressions of that vast country. The result was the inaugural exhibition at Pachter Hall “Impressions of India”, 16 acrylic on canvas paintings of figures and scenes, real and imagined. These vibrant and colourful works contrast starkly with Pachter’s cool Canadian icons.
